Raita – Onion Raita

  • 2 cups Curds
  • 1 Onion, minced
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • Few Mint leaves
  • 2 Green chilies, minced
  • 1 tsp. Ginger, sliced
  • 1 tsp. Cumin seeds, ground & roasted
  • 1 tsp. Mustard seeds, grounded Chili powder according to taste Salt according to taste

Directions ::..

1. Put the onions in water for 15 minutes, drain and keep aside.

2. Blend the curd with 2 tbsp. water and seasonings and beat till smooth.

3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, except the coriander leaves.

4. Serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
