Gobi Manchurian with Gravy
- Cauliflower – 1 medium
- Rice flour-1/4 cup
- Wheat/Maida – 1/2 cup
- Corn Flour – 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – 2tsp
- Pepper Powder(1/4 Tsp)
- Corriander powder-1 tsp
- Red color-3 drops
- Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
- Tomato Sauce – 2tbsp
- Chilli Sauce – 1/4tsp
- Curry Leaves – 1stalk
- Onion – 1(sliced)
- Minced Ginger – 1 small piece
- Green Chilli – 3 nums
- Corriander Leaves
Directions ::..
1. Remove the cauliflower pieces from the stalk and cook it with little water, turmeric powder and salt (Do not overcook it.). Strain the cauliflower from the water and keep it aside.
2. Make a thick batter of cornflour, maida/wheat, red chilli powder, corriander powder, salt, red color and water. Dip the florets into this batter and deep fry in the oil.
3. Heat oil in a pan and season with mustard. Add onion, ginger, green chilli,pepper powder and curry leaves and saute it till onion becomes translucent. After this, put soyasauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce to it and saute for 1 minute.Add little water for gravy.Once the gravy is done add the deep fried florets to this gravy and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it hot with chappathi or fried rice.
