Dry gobi manchurian
- Cauliflower- 1 small
- All purpose flour-1 cup
- Rice flour-1/4 cup
- Corn flour-1 1/2 tbsp
- Orange red food color-3 pinch
- Salt to taste
- Chopped onion-1/4
- Green chilli- 2
- Capsicum -1/4
- Chopped garlic flakes- 10
- Smashed ginger-3/4tbsp
- Tomato sauce-1/4 cup
- Soy sauce-1tsp
- Chilli sauce- 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder-3/4 tsp
- Ajinomoto -2 pinch
Directions ::..
Boil water in a vessel add turmeric salt and cauliflower florets . Soak it for 5 mins then drain it, keep it aside.
To make a batter, mix all flours with a water, color and salt. The batter should be in medium consistency.
In deep skillet heat oil, dip the cauliflower florets in the batter one by one and deep fry it in hot oil. Keep it aside.
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a skillet saute onions, ginger, garlic pieces and capsicum for 3 to 4 mins. Then add ajinomoto, 1 pinch of color, a little salt, 1 tsp water and vinegar saute it for 1 min. Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, chilli sauce and cook for 3 mins. Then add fried cauliflower florets stir it, sprinkle pepper powder on it, cook it for 5 mins.
