Kakara kaya Fry(Bitter gourd Fry)
- Bitter gourd – 1 lb
- Chopped onion – 1/2
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Red chilli powder as required
- Salt to taste
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Oil
Directions ::..
Cut the bitter guard into pieces and keep it aside.
Heat oil in skillet, deep fry the bitter gourd pieces on medium flame and take out from the oil, keep it aside.
Now add 1 tbsp oil in another pan add mustard, cumin seeds, onion, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and curry leaves saute it for 4 mins then add fried bitter gourd pieces to it. Add red chilli powder, salt, milk, and coriander powder to it. Mix it well. Fry this until milk became broken and water absorbed.
