- 1. Tomatoes – 4
- Onion – 1
- Garlic cloves – 3
- Ginger – one small
- Carrot – one big
- Beans – 6
- Brinjal – 1
- Potato – 1 big
- Drumstick – 2
- Green chilli – 4
- Okra – 5 medium sizes
- 2. Tamarind juice – quarter cup
- 3. Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 3 tsp
- Turmeric powder – half tsp
- 4. Mustard – half tsp
Directions ::..
Take dhal in pressure cooker add all the vegetables like onion, carrot, ginger, garlic, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, green chillies, brinjals, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt to it and cook it for 10 minutes. Switch off the stove and keep it there for another 10 minutes to cool.
Heat one small pan; add 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and fry okra for 4 minutes. Add tamarind water, drumsticks, and half tsp red chilli powder to it and cook it for 8 minutes.
Open the pressure cooker pan and boil again in medium flame, add the tamarind okra water to the pressure pan and cook it for another 5 minutes. Switch off the flame.
